These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Elaine Psychic (“we”, “us”, “my”) via my website, including live and recorded tarot and psychic readings.

By booking, purchasing, or participating in any service, you (“the client”, “you”) agree to these Terms.

2. Nature of Services (Entertainment Disclaimer)

All readings are provided for entertainment purposes only.

I make no guarantees regarding:

  • Accuracy
  • Outcomes
  • Future events

All readings are based on interpretation and intuition and should not be relied upon as factual or definitive.

3. No Professional Advice

My services do not replace professional advice. I do not provide:

  • Medical or health advice
  • Legal advice
  • Financial advice
  • Psychological or mental health support

You must seek a qualified professional for these matters.

4. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to book or receive a reading.

By booking, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

5. Services Provided

I offer services including (but not limited to):

  • Live virtual readings (e.g. Teams, WhatsApp, phone, or similar platforms)
  • Recorded video readings via Teams
  • Email readings

The format of your reading will be confirmed at the time of booking.

6. Bookings and Payment

  • All readings must be paid for in advance
  • Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of payment
  • It is your responsibility to provide accurate contact details

If you fail to attend a live session at the agreed time, the reading may be forfeited.

7. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds

  • You may reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice
  • Late cancellations (under 24 hours) are non-refundable
  • Missed appointments are non-refundable
  • Once a reading has been delivered (live or recorded), no refunds will be issued

I reserve the right to cancel or refuse a booking at my discretion. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.

8. Recorded Readings and Consent

Some readings may be recorded (including live sessions).

By booking, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • The session may be recorded via teams if requested by you
  • Recordings will be provided to you
  • Recordings may be stored securely for a reasonable period

I will not share recordings publicly or with third parties, unless required by law.

9. Client Responsibility

You accept that:

  • You are responsible for your own decisions and actions
  • You will not base life-critical decisions solely on a reading
  • You understand the subjective nature of the service

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for:

  • Any decisions you make following a reading
  • Any perceived inaccuracies
  • Any loss, damage, or emotional distress

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so under applicable law.

11. Behaviour and Conduct

I reserve the right to refuse or terminate a reading if you:

  • Act abusively or disrespectfully
  • Make inappropriate or unreasonable demands
  • Are under the influence of drugs or alcohol

No refund will be given in such circumstances.

12. International Clients

I accept clients worldwide.

However, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, regardless of your location.

13. Privacy and Data Protection

I handle your personal data in accordance with UK data protection laws.

This includes:

  • Contact details used for bookings
  • Any recordings (where applicable)

14. Website and Service Availability

I aim to provide uninterrupted services but do not guarantee that:

  • Technical issues will not occur

I am not responsible for delays or failures caused by technical problems outside my control.

16. Governing Law
